Inter American University of Puerto Rico serves as a liaison between North America and Latin America. For over 90 years our institution has been devoted to preparing our students for the workforce, besides educating them to become leaders in the diverse fields of human activities and adapt them to continuous cultural changes.Inter American University offers 117 undergraduate programs, 47 master degrees, four doctoral degrees, a juris doctor degree and a doctoral degree in optometry. All the undergraduate programs have a general education program, which give special attention to the development of both the individual and social awareness, refinement of communication skills, technology use, attention to ethics, philosophical and aesthetics sensibility, and to the application of the principles of Christian faith.

The integration of new technology into the education process enables the student to assume greater responsibility and more flexibility regarding the learning process. Students can enrich their learning experiences by participating in internships in Puerto Rico and abroad.
