Sustaining International Education Exchange as an Upmost Priority in the Midst of an Economic Downturn
Engaging in international education exchange may be perceived as costly to our institutions or to society as a whole. During times of a weak economy and immense budget cuts, it is important that international education not lose its place as a key priority. The panel presentations will discuss strategies and practical suggestions that institutions can use to move forward in achieving their internationalization goals while maintain realistic budgets in the process. Additional challenges and opportunities for internationalization of higher education institutions in North America will also be presented.
