04/07 Paul Brennan is Vice President of Partnership Programs at the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), where he previously he served as Manager for Constituency and External Relations, and Manager responsible for all ACCC overseas partnerships in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa. He has also given a number of the ACCC training workshops for college staff on how to prepare better proposals, implement more effective partnership projects overseas, adjust to change during the process and evaluate and report on the results and impacts attained. Mr. Brennan has Bachelor's and Master’s degrees specializing in modern Asian and African history, and has conducted graduate studies in Management at McGill University in Leadership of National Not-for-profit Associations. He has taught at Collège de Rosemont, John Abbott College, l’Université du Québec à Montréal and Concordia University in Montreal. He is fluent in French, English and Mandarin Chinese, with some study of Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. He has also studied, lived and worked in China, Indonesia and Zimbabwe.This involves acting as the liaison person between, on the one hand, forty College Affinity Groups made up of over 3,000 administrators, faculty, staff and student leaders from the 150 college/institute members members of the ACCC, and externally with a large number of other national associations, industrial sector councils and federal ministries and agencies. Previously Paul was Manager responsible for all ACCC overseas partnerships in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa, He has also given a number of the ACCC training workshops for college staff on how to prepare better proposals, implement more effective partnership projects overseas, adjust to change during the process and evaluate and report on the results and impacts attained. Anteriormente ha colaborado en ACCC como Administrador de Relaciones Exteriores y como responsable de las alianzas entre ACCC y América Latina, el Caribe y Africa. Ha impartido diversos talleres sobre preparación de propuestas de financiamiento exitosas, creación de alianzas internacionales, procesos de cambio organizacional y evaluación y presentación de resultados de proyectos. Brennan realizó sus estudios de licenciatura y maestría con énfasis en asuntos asiáticos y en historia de Africa y ha realizado estudios de posgrado en administración y liderazgo de organizaciones no lucrativas en la Universidad de McGill.
